Meet Alan Blankenship, your Northern California fly fishing guide since 1994.   Alan offers expert fly fishing guide services for the McCloud River, Upper Sacramento River, Pit River and Klamath River. 

He has been a fly fishing guide for over 20 years. As a local resident, he has explored and hunted for large trout and steelhead in all the nearby water, and is a strong believer in "catch and release". He is an enthusiastic, articulate, and patient teacher with a sixth sense when it comes to locating fish. Alan's knowledge of trout behavior, entomology, and skill in presentation to riffles, pools, and pocket water are second to none.
