Just got back from taking the Piovesan family on an overnight trip to Washington Canyon. We didn't find any Tuna but the Hammerheads kept us busy through the night. Still put plenty of meat in the box with 3 nice Mahi, 31 Seabass, and 25 Blueline Tilefish.
The James family getting it done today with a White Marlin release and 4 big gaffer mahi.
Had a great time fishing this morning. Caught 5 shark ranging from 2-4 1/2 feet.
Couldn't find any Tuna today so we spent a little time deep dropping with butterfly jigs and caught some Tilefish including two citation Bluelines.
Steve and his sons Chris and Corey went back out with me inshore today and caught a few Flounder.
The Tog bite on the wrecks was slow all morning but picked up in the afternoon. Only had a few keepers out of about a dozen fish but it was a pleasant day!

The voices made me do it. The ones telling me I needed a "smaller" boat to stalk those really skinny water places, so I just added this J16 Carolina Skiff to the White Lightning fleet.
Seabass fishing on the wrecks is great this time of year. We have plenty of dates available. Call us at 703-407-2700 to make a reservation.
The late summer Mahi bite has heated up and provides some great light tackle action typically through September. I still have dates available in September so call now to book an offshore trip before they move south.
Happy to be a part of this great activity for kids.
