Better late than never! A blue marlin recaptured in 2010 was just reported to us and was it impressive. We just confirmed that this is one of the longer distances for a blue marlin that we have had for about 10 years. This blue was originally tagged in July 26, 2009 off Road town in the British Virgin Islands by past TBF award winner, Capt. Eddie Morrison on "Marlin Prince" with angler Simon Arnsby and 1st mate Dan Gerristen. Only 286 days later and over 3100 miles (straight line distance) later, this blue was recaptured 300 miles off of Sierra Leone! While we had to wait 6 years for this report, we are thankful that our colleague out of Reunion Island who contacted about this.
