I had an incredible time fishing the 18th annual Millers fishing tournament out of the Plantation on Crystal River with Fishing with Luiza, John King and his family. We took 1st place cobia, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place grouper, 3rd place mackerel, 1st place grouper bag and a bonus check for getting a slam. Cool story from Fish Chatham Charters: "After the slack tide we hooked up on a nice tuna. We fought the fish for about a half hour and it was near the boat. Then it took a screaming run and just stopped and came in easy. Missing its tail to a shark. We quickly boated the fish minus tail so as to not loose the rest of the fish. Then a big mako started circling the boat. Out came the shark gear and after some coaxing it ate a big piece of tuna guts. Another fight was on and eventually we landed the tail-eating mako too!"
