I have a great helper here at the barn. Winston the cat greets every guest who comes for a sleigh ride. He also loves to ride on my shoulder any chance he can.
Feeding time on the farm! These guys work up quite an appetite. They burn a lot of calories pulling a sleigh or just keeping warm when they are out and about. Sleigh rides can be booked at https://bit.ly/34yg2cK. Reserve a slot now and book early to get a special Valentine's ride! I still have a few spots for a romantic sleigh ride on Feb. 12-13!

Exploring Yellowstone Lake in the backcountry can yield some amazing views and cutthroat that might rarely, if ever-- see a fly! Our Thorofare trip, usually in September, takes you to a spot 33 miles from any road, in any direction, which makes it one the most remote locations in the lower 48. The lake's cutthroat are coming back. They commonly run 18 to 22 inches and you can watch them cruising. Book the trip at https://bit.ly/3a7Fg3s, come sight fish and literally-- enjoy the sights!
Just another blessed day in Bozeman! More snow expected with two storms coming, one Friday/Sat and another in the beginning of the week! #snow #letitsnow #horses #sleighride Tap our website link to reserve a spot!
How old were you when you caught your first fish on a fly? This shot is of our friend Brian La Rue with his first fly-caught fish back in 1985 on the Lewis River in Yellowstone. He then repeated the "tradition" in the same spot with his own son Barrett in 2010! Bring your son or daughter on one of our trips and make your own memories and new traditions. The coyote doesn't get a lot of love in the park from visitors, but in the backcountry, you can sit in camp or along the river and watch a coyote go about his business, chasing ground squirrels. If you are lucky, maybe you'll see one team up with a badger for a hunt.

Morning has to be a favorite time for photos! The low sun lights up the valley, wildlife or view like no other time and depending on the time of year, the water temperature might be warmer than the air, resulting in low hanging fog that always adds to the shot. If you'd like to try a trip, maybe a shorter one to see what we are all about, check out the Mirror Plateau 3-day trip. We explore the remote regions of the Mirror Plateau and Broad Creek. Filled with thermal features and wildlife, it is a photographer's paradise. The history is fascinating with stories of poachers, Nez Pierce, Army, wildlife restoration, and early explorers. We run this trip a variety of ways, coming up through Pelican Valley and out through Specimen Ridge or up via the Wapiti Lake Trail and out through Astringent Creek. This is a place of the true wilds, explore it with us. We typically run this trip in late July. Tap https://bit.ly/3qt4qA2 to read more.
