Born in North Carolina and raised on Oak Island, Captain Robert Capps is both a full-time Charter Captain as well as a Commercial Fisherman. Filled with a passion for the ocean and fishing, Robert has fished from Nags Head to the Florida Keys as well as in Mexico and the Bahamas. He has learned his craft from many top Captains— both charter and commercial. Robert is a charter member of the “Chips A Hoy” fishing team, a local King Mackerel tournament team in which he splits time as captain and mate. In addition to his King Mackerel tournament fishing experience he has also fished the Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament, as well as many inshore flounder and red fish tournaments. A day on the water with Captain Robert will always bring great excitement and memories.
