Today was the end of Utah's summer bear season. This year we got to watch young dogs really turn it on and become assets to our pack, but we also got to spend time with some old dogs that may have seen their last bear season. Bittersweet to see dogs age, because it all goes too quickly. When we explain to folks that we don't kill most bears or lions that we catch, they struggle to understand the point. Truly blessed are those who understand that it's about far more than killing the game in the tree.
