Farewell to a good ol boy. If there was ever a way for a dog to go out on top this was it today. Found a couple day old tom track and decided to see if the dogs could move it. They took it and Jack flew out in the lead. He must have caught the cat on the ground alone and it looked like a pretty good fight took place. Jack helped put up 4 cats this week and was rocking on this old track. I guess it was his farewell tour. 6 years ago I decided to sell my mountain of shed horns and buy this dog. Can't say I'll find enough sheds in my life to pay for what this dog has meant to GT Outfitters. We've been under many trees with this ol boy, usually he'd be climbed right up in the tree with whatever he had caught. He was around just long enough to show his pups what to do. Today the light clicked for them and they were treeing hard. The rest of the pack put up the big tom but it sure was different being under a tree without Jack. Farewell ol boy.
David scored on this awesome late season bull. This bull was a warrior and had broke off part of his 3rd and all of his 4th on his right side. As is he still scores 353". If he hadn't broke he would have been in the 370's. Congrats Dave on a top end Book Cliffs Bull.
