I have been fishing the Lower Deschutes River for over 25 years and have been guiding it for the past 19 years. In the spring and late summer months we also guide Oregon's number one brown trout fishery, the Owyhee River. For a river that isn't much more than a trickle for half the year, it not only houses a lot of browns but plenty that are in the 20 plus inch range. To keep us busy in the winter months we guide for winter steelhead on the Sandy River. And to top it off for the past 10 years I have worked with ODFW on Trout Creek on a steelhead restoration project. Trout Creek is the main steelhead spawning tributary of the Deschutes.
