Elk Fork Outfitters LLC (Outfitter) has the following payment and refund policies regarding deposits and fees paid to them by anyone (Client) for any and all services requested and/or provided, including summer pack trips, hunts and day rides.
Deposits: Within 14 days of booking a hunt or summer pack trip, a $500 deposit per person is required. The deposit can be a personal check, certified check or money order.
If Client does not draw a hunting license for any species for which he or she has paid a deposit, Outfitter will refund Client's deposit in full within 30 days of draw results being released.
If the Client does not draw a hunting license for any species for which he or she has paid a deposit, Client may choose to have the deposit held by the Outfitter as a deposit for a hunt the next year. A written agreement will be given to the Outfitter by the Client within 30 days of the draw results being released.
Payment: Payment for summer pack trips or hunts will be due before the start of the pack trip or hunt, with money received on deposit being applied to the total price of the pack trip or hunt. Payment can be made by personal check, certified check or money order.
Day rides do not require a deposit but payment must be made in full prior to the start of the ride.
Cooking School requires a $400 nonrefundable deposit by July 1, 2018 or your spot will become available for someone else. The remainder of payment is due before the start of the School.
*Outfitter reserves the right to refuse service to any Client who does not comply with the payment policy.*
Cancellations and Refunds:
The following situations are acceptable grounds for the Client to cancel a pack trip or hunt and receive a full refund of the deposit and any payment made, with the refund being made by the Outfitter within 30 days of the written request by the Client:
In the case of the death of a Client, any person who has authority to represent the Client as provided by a court of law can receive a refund by submitting a written request supported by a copy of the death certificate of the Client.
In the case of the death of a loved one of the Client, a refund will be issued by the Outfitter upon receipt of a written request and a copy of the respective death certificate from the Client. Death must have occurred after the booking was made.
In the case of a Client having an incapacitating illness or injury, supported by a physician's statement. Illness or injury must have occurred, or escalated to incapacitation, after the booking was made.
In the case of a Client who is in the Military and cannot participate in his or her hunt or pack trip due to orders or assignments, supported by a copy of official military orders from the Armed Forces of the United States that has been issued after the booking was made. Client/licensee must have been enrolled in the Military prior to the booking being made.
In the case of a Client who cannot participate in his or her hunt or pack trip due to a court-ordered summons, for jury duty or other, with a certified copy of the court document accompanied by a written request. Court order must have occurred after the booking was made.
In the case of a closure by the United States Forest Service to 100% of the hunt or pack trip areas.
For all other Client cancellations, if the Outfitter can rebook the pack trip or hunt then a full refund will be issued. If a cancellation is made and the Outfitter cannot rebook the pack trip or hunt, then any deposit and/or payment will not be refunded to the Client except at the discretion of the Outfitter.
If a Client misrepresents his or her weight, health and/or physical ability and/or medical issues, the Outfitter reserves the right to deny the service previously agreed upon without refund.
