About
My great-grandfather was in the fishing business as was my grandfather for years. I grew up along the coast and fished a lot as I was growing up. Once I finished my education, I decided to carry on the legacy and started working in the Chandeleur Islands fishing business and continued to do so for 15 years. I decided to go out on my own into inshore and offshore fishing charters in 1999 and have continued to do so ever since. I enjoy the everyday relaxation of being out on the water and meeting people from all over the world. It’s a very entertaining and enjoyable way of life.
There’s a few preferred ways that like to fish. I enjoy offshore fishing for big fish mainly, usually live bait fishing on wrecks and rigs. I also enjoy inshore light tackle fishing also, especially during the proper times of the year when trout fishing or fishing for blackfish are biting well. But for the most part I enjoy fishing at all times of the year from tuna fishing to cobia fishing and trout and redfish fishing to tripletail fishing using different types of techniques to all types of baits. I tend to fish for certain types of fish at certain times of the year due to migration patterns or spawning times and during certain times that seasons are open.
