The Salmon Catcher Lodge Story

Hi folks, my name is Terry Johnson. My wife and I are the proud owner/operators of Salmon Catcher Lodge. Salmon Catcher Lodge is the premier Alaska fishing lodge on the Kenai Peninsula, southwest of Anchorage. We are located in the town of Kenai, central to world class sportfishing adventures in Kenai, Soldotna, Seward and Homer, Alaska. Our facility offers luxury accommodations and Alaska fishing trips for individuals and families. We can even host groups of up to 55 (please call 907-335-2001).

Back in 1993, I was a pilot for UPS, based out of Anchorage. One weekend, I went fishing with a friend on the Kenai River and immediately fell in love with this area. I returned every weekend layover I had after that first trip. By 1996, I was coming so often I brought down a boat and camper to Kenai. In 2001, I broke ground on a “cabin” that today is the 2800 sq. foot Caribou Crossing part of our lodge. Today, I live my dream every day here at the lodge and want to share it with you.
