A visit to the Old Kirby Place provides a comfortable lodge that offers you immediate access to the Madison River - one of the truly great trout fishing rivers in the world. The Old Kirby Place is located 34 miles south of Ennis, Montana and 38 miles north of West Yellowstone, Montana.  Here you are in the heart of the Greater Yellowstone world of fly fishing.  Within a 30 minute drive, you are fly fishing the best water in Montana, if not the country.

Our historic lodge was constructed with hand-hewn logs, as are our adjoining cabins.  The main lodge has three bedrooms, one downstairs and two on the second floor.  We also feature three separate cabins, each decorated in true western style that offers visitors a comfortable environment set among natural beauty unlike anywhere else in the world.
