Ron Lara, the owner of Western Wildlife Adventures, has been involved in wildlife conservation for over 30 years! He helped with the Mule Deer Foundation in the early 90’s as well as the California Waterfowl Association. Then in 1995 he and a few others saw the need for habitat restoration in California. They started the California Deer Association of which he is still the State Treasurer. During his time helping these organizations with banquets and fund-raising functions, he has helped raise over one million dollars for wildlife!

Today, Ron also serves as a member of the Nevada Outfitters and Guides Association helping to bring quality hunts to the would be hunters in the state of Nevada. He has met and befriended many hunters along the way, and made friends with many of the best and most successful outfitters in the industry.
